top NSW schools by ICSEA

top 100 NSW government schools ranked by ICSEA (Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage). Higher ICSEA = more advantage in the school's community, not a quality score.

ICSEA is ACARA's Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage. The national average is 1000. It reflects parental occupation/education and indigenous + remote loadings — it does NOT measure school quality, teaching, or student outcomes. Schools with high ICSEA are typically in affluent communities; schools with low ICSEA serve lower-SES communities and often produce excellent value-add results despite the index.
